A Heartfelt Farewell: Mighty’s Final Chapter

We’re deeply saddened to share that Mighty Health will be closing, and our last day of service will be April 10th, 2025.

Seven years ago, we started Mighty with a deeply personal mission: to create a home for healthy living as we age. Our co-founder James’ dad had just undergone a harrowing open-heart procedure, and when he left the hospital, all he had was a stapled packet of discharge instructions. We wanted to help him regain his strength—not just survive, but thrive—without relying on lifelong medications or repeat surgeries.

Since then, it has been an absolute privilege to walk alongside tens of thousands of you on your health journeys. It’s never been just about the numbers on the scale, the blood pressure cuff, or the glucose monitor—it’s about what feeling stronger, more balanced, and pain-free allows you to do in life.

It’s about the member who told us she went to five live concerts in one summer after more than a decade of missing out. The one who paused her Mighty Day streak to march down Bourbon Street for Mardi Gras, reaching for beads and carrying heavy bags of bounty. The member who, for the first time in years, was able to put on his own boots and chase his grandkids around a cruise ship. And it’s about all of you who have shared how becoming mightier has helped you in the everyday moments—spending a whole day gardening, knitting for hours without pain, or simply feeling well enough to have more hugs and memories with your family and loved ones. 

Over the years, one piece of feedback stood out more than anything: your favorite part of Mighty was the relationships you built with our coaches and providers. That means everything to us. More than anything, we hope you felt truly supported—that someone understood your journey and what being healthier meant personally to you. Health is the foundation of everything we have in life, and it’s a journey meant to be shared, not faced alone.


Here’s what you need to know:

  • April 10th will be our final day of service, and we are no longer accepting new members.

  • For members who are paying out-of-pocket for a membership through your Apple account, please follow these instructions to request a refund directly from Apple (sadly, Apple does not allow app developers to issue refunds ourselves).

  • If you signed up for an out-of-pocket membership via Android or on our website, we will be issuing you a pro-rated refund around April 10th.

  • All member data will be permanently deleted.

  • We’ve created a page where you can continue to access some of your favorite exercise, nutrition, and journaling resources over the years: bit.ly/mighty-resources

It has been the honor of a lifetime to be a small part of your health journey. While this chapter is ending, we hope you’ll continue putting your health first, and we truly believe your mightiest days are still ahead.
